Special Instructions:
Follow any unique guidance provided on your test’s product page.

STEP 1

PREPARE YOURSELF & YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Hydrate and Warm Up:
Drink one or two glasses of water 30–60 minutes before testing. For best results, warm your hands by soaking them in warm water for around 4 minutes or by gently massaging them.

Clean and Set Up:
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them completely. Lay out your kit components on a clean, well-lit, and spacious surface.

STEP 2

COLLECT YOUR SAMPLE

1. Prepare the Sampling Site

Select Your Finger:

Use your non-dominant hand and start with your ring finger. If needed, use a new lancet on your middle finger (or index finger), but avoid the thumb and pinky.Clean the Area:
Wipe the chosen finger with an alcohol swab and let it dry completely.

2. Perform the Finger-Prick

Ready the Lancet:
Twist off the cap and ensure you’re familiar with its operation.

Prick Your Finger:
Firmly press the lancet onto the side of your fingertip until it clicks. (Tip: It’s normal to feel a small pinch.)

Wipe the First Drop:
Gently wipe away the initial drop of blood with a dry gauze pad.

Collect the Blood:
Hold your finger (pointing downward) over the open collection tube placed in the designated kit slot. Allow the blood to drip naturally until the tube is filled to the marked line. If insufficient blood is collected, use a new lancet on another finger and repeat.

STEP 3

PACKAGES AND RETURN YOUR SAMPLE

1. Label Your Sample and Fill in the Details:
Write the time and date of your sample collection clearly on the provided label.

2. Secure Your Sample

Pack It In:
Place the filled tube(s) into the biohazard pouch. Remove the protective strip and seal the pouch securely. Then, insert the pouch into your kit box.

3. Post Your Sample

Prepare for Return:
Put the kit box into the prepaid return envelope.

Send It Off:
For the best turnaround, post your sample on a Monday to Friday, preferably before 11:00 am to ensure it reaches our lab promptly.

Tip: Always get proof of postage so you can track your sample’s journey online.

  • AVOID EXCESSIVE SQUEEZING

Do not overly squeeze or scrape your finger. Gentle massaging is sufficient.
